It all started from 2012 when the founders were traveling to several corner of the world and discovered certain outskirts with its own unique landscape.
Since the founders are originated from Indonesia, they believe Indonesia surely has its own untouched outskirt where a lot of natural beauty awaited to bediscovered. At 2017, they started their journey all around Indonesia and found Sumba unforgettably unique to the other parts of Indonesia. In 2022 , they made a brave decision to finally reside in East part of Sumba, where the vast savanna and the uncountable latent waterfalls are the highlight of their adventures. Muruhumba Escape is just the tip of their big dream about Sumba.

Your stay will be accommodated by a 54 sqm villa, fully powered by solar-hybrid electrical system to ensure our footprints will not harm the nature. Specifically designed and crafted, the villas are equipped with pampering outdoor tub and dedicated BBQ spot to enhance our guests' outdoor experiences. Accompanied with our locally-raised ranch and garden, our guests will get the chance to indulge themselves with the natural experiences of local Sumbanese life.
